We have an exciting new collaboration this summer with Leiths cookery school. They are a few doors away from Kite Studios, so we decided it’s time to join the dots in our neighbourhood. Together we have created Leiths Kids’ Kitchen & Art at Kite Studios.

Camilla who works at Leiths put the question to me about collaborating.  The idea being that the children cook at Leiths and create art at Kite Studios.  It’s as easy as that! 

Children draw, paint and create art exploring different themes. For example they use the etching press to make their own framed print inspired by The Mad Hatter’s Tea Party from Alice in Wonderland. A week of complete sensual immersion!

The workshops are for 7 – 11 year olds. The days is divided into two, children spend half the day cooking in Leiths kitchens. They then walk over to Kite Studios to create artwork inspired by a food theme.
