We have stated previously that often, it is the holiday workshops that truly encourage children to take up an art course.
I sometimes find it a challenge to explain to a parent why its worth coming to Kite Studios for our holiday workshops when the choiceof activities available for children today is so vast.
However I always return to the principle that we are all better for having drawing as a core skill. It is ultimately the foundation for creativity. Drawing does not have to be a skill that captures the reality of a photograph though, there are so many wonderful ways of approaching the activity.
There are still spaces available for our May Half-Term classes! We have a range of classes on offer:
Tuesday 29th May is when we will kick off this May half-term in style! With a Sharpie Tie dye on T-Shirts. We will also be running clay camp!
Wednesday 30th May there will be ‘Lamps inspired by Aladdin’.
Thursday 31st May we will work together and be an Avenger of our own! ‘Discover the Galaxies Shooting Stars’.
Friday 1st of June brings an end to the May half-term and to follow on with the galaxies theme, we will run a ‘Star Wars Characters in Print’.
Similarly, Clay Camp will also be running!
Why not go the extra mile and get your clay pieces fired and glazed too!
With all this variety, there is more than enough opportunity to allow children to utilise their creativity and learn new art techniques! Book here.
We look forward to welcoming you to our workshops!
