What We Do

The GSCE and A-Level Portfolio Projects class is designed to complement the national art curriculum and gives students the opportunity to spend a day in the studio every week with a focus on further developing their drawing skills. Students thrive in our creatively-inclined environment where we teach them to draw both from observation and from their imaginations. We believe that both drawing from observation and from the imagination are invaluable skills to have when it comes to drawing as it allows the artist to be as diverse and creative as possible, bounding off of the two skills to create holistic art. In addition to honing in drawing abilities, the class allows students to use pottery and printmaking facilities which include access to a kiln and an etching press. Our GSCE and A-Level Portfolio Projects classes are proven to be a success for the creativity that they encourage with many students going on to gain admission to and graduate with arts degrees in addition to working in creative industries.
