Friday Adult Pottery Novice and Trial Nights (Drop in Class) 19:00 – 21:00 | Summer 2023

Teacher: Emilia Radlinska
Day: First Friday of the month, 7-9pm
Location: Kite Studios

Level: Beginners

Ready, steady, SPIN! Come along for a fun filled 2 hour long Friday evening activity of messy creativity. Experience throwing (working on the pottery wheel). You never know, you might get hooked 🙂 .

Enjoy a laugh and banter with like minded folks in a warm, friendly and relaxed atmosphere in our beautiful courtyard garden studio. Perfect for a fun night out with friends, something different to mark a birthday or family event or to try out and see if you would like to join us for a longer course.

Our expert potter will demonstrate and guide you and you will each have your own wheel to gain hands-on practice. You will learn the basic steps in making a pot from centering, opening out and pulling up the walls of your pots.

This is a make and take class so at the end of the workshop you can chose your best piece to take away free of charge – any other pots will be recycled. Your pot can be left to air-dry at home and painted if you wish – we do not include firing for pots from this class.

PLEASE NOTE we need a minimum of 4 attendees for a class to go ahead. We will notify you 72 hours in advance if we need to rearrange your class.

We also offer term time pottery courses, click and collect glaze at home kits and Friday evening glazing sessions.
