Open access to the studio and the printmaking equipment for printmakers who wish to work independently. Not suitable for complete beginners. If unfamiliar with Kite Studios, you would need to book a one hour introduction to the studio (£30) or attend a trial printmaking class in the morning (£45).

This is ‘pay as you go’ but booking ahead of time is required. The studio is suitable for relief, intaglio printing (drypoint and collagraph) and monotype printing. There are no facilities for making etching plates or for silkscreen printing. Fabriano printmaking paper can be purchased at the studio.

Price includes access to studio equipment, including large and small etching press, book press, water bath, rollers, scrim, etching and cutting tools, water washable inks, proofing paper, newsprint. Not included: plates or printmaking paper.
