Kite Studios will be running an After School Art Club at Ark Byron Academy in the Spring Term for children from year 3 to year 6.We offer high quality art education and the sessions cover a wide range of skills and
approaches particularly focusing on process. Using a story as the frame work children
discover other artist’s work in context as well as all kinds of materials from printmaking to
painting and pottery. The skill of drawing from observation is at the core of many activities
as well as developing confidence , critical awareness and collaboration. Each session involves ’Good StudioPractice’ from planning to tidying and ending with a moment to rest and reflect.
